On February 24, Jana Coorevits joined Nicky Aerts on the radio program Pompidou at Klara to talk about her exhibition luchtvlak landschap zon, maan.
The conversation is in Dutch and can be re-listened to via the link in bio or @vrtmax_be @klararadio
luchtvlak landschap zon, maan focuses on analog photography and the moon as a central theme. Jana invites us to truly observe: the moon’s movement, the play of light and shadow, and the deep connection between celestial bodies and our own bodies.
“The moon is a window in the sky, a mirror-like disc revealing what is often unseen.” Using her camera as an extension of her body, Jana captures cyclical phenomena: lunar phases, the sun, the landscape, and our own movements within the universe.
The exhibition explores the interplay of nature, time, and matter—from water and sun to the invisible forces that make everything revolve. A poetic journey encouraging us to reflect on the interconnectedness of all things.
