Matter on its dance through time is the result of an ongoing conversation with
the desert landscape of Death Valley, California. In an immense landscape, fragility
and detail take on meaning: the moon shakes, a stone balances on a rock, a storm
sweeps away a mountain range. Movements in the seemingly static landscape obtain
increasing significance. Visible frailty opens a field of association to vulnerability in
the aftermath of sexual violence.
