Chloé Op de Beeck seeks to give the trivial moments of everyday life special attention, using film, photography and (found) objects in an installative way. She deconstructs filmic elements which unfold as fragments in an exhibition space. Her associative way of working results in work which is on the edge of narrativity, without telling a real story. By waiting, asking and doubting, she captures moments of reality that, instead of showing a revelation or an answer, show the question.
